WHO

After years producing and directing television across the world, Danger Island founder Sam has built up a close team of some of the most exciting freelance talents in the industry. Like the Avengers…but all wearing North Face. Taking decades of award-winning experience across genres to create engaging content for the digital world, with the high standards and military cost management of broadcast television.

WHAT

From the world of documentaries and entertainment television, storytelling is our bread and butter. Visuals are lovely, camera tricks are cool, but the stories are what you tell your friends about.

We don’t make content for it to just be seen. We make content to be watched, loved and remembered long after it’s ended. Whether its a 60 second commercial, a 60 minute documentary or a 6 part series, our goal is always the same.

HOW

From soup to nuts, or more accurately, from idea development to final colour grading, we have the breadth and depth of experience to deliver even the most ambitious of projects. 

Skilled television making professionals adept at both the fun creative stuff which will your content leap from the screens, and all those boring money and logistics bits which make it land on both feet.

  • .A standard of filmmaking, storytelling, diligence and work practices demanded of by the major broadcasters and streamers.
  •  We know how to squeeze the most value out of a shoot. TV budgets are peanuts compared to most corporate marketing budgets, we won’t rinse you dry, and we won’t chuck excess money at a project just because it’s there. 
  • We’ve worked on shows of every scale imaginable, from Dinner Date to Squid Games, and we know the right kit for the job. We’re not going to use an ARRI cinema camera for a social media short just because it sounds impressive to the client. We think more of you than that.
  • Speaking of which, our experience is BROAD. Shiny floor entertainment, docs, sport, music, scripted, we’ve done it all. There’s very little that isn’t in our wheelhouse. Our wheelhouse is absolutely massive.
